Major social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram have recognised this shift and now fully support animated media like videos and GIFs. In short, a static photo just does not cut it anymore.
Here at Instantly.sg, we stay ahead of the latest trends — and our GIF Photo Booth rental service is exactly that. Our animated GIF booth takes up to four shots in succession and merges them into a single looping animated GIF. Because the whole process happens on the spot, guests can email the GIF to themselves instantly through our tablets on site. No waiting, no hassle.
On top of that, we take things a step further by printing all four shots on a fully customised design template. As a result, every guest walks away with both a fun animated GIF video and a physical printed keepsake. In other words, it is like a photo booth and a video booth combined into one experience.
How Does Our GIF Photo Booth Works
Step 1:
Grab a friend or two and strike a pose in front of our backdrop. With our live view monitor in front of you, you can pose and position yourselves accordingly.
Step 2:
Once ready, our friendly GIF photo booth rental assistant will snap three or four photos in succession (the amount is decided by you).
Step 3:
Automatically, these three or four shots will be merged to form a GIF. You can proceed to email the GIF to yourself.
Step 4:
Lastly, the three or four shots taken will be embedded on your event’s design printout template, and get printed out instantly for collection.

- 1 For our GIF booth service, because we are creating a GIF, each group of guests will need to take at least two shots/photos.
- 2 You can revise the design for free up to the first 3 times. Every subsequent revision is at $30.
- 3 We will put the captured GIF on top of your event’s branding (see the Tommy Hilfiger GIF example on the left). You can revise the branding design for free up to the first 3 times. Every subsequent revision is at $30.
- 4 Your guests can instantly email the GIF video (which is in mp4 format) to themselves after their GIF have been captured. The email will be fired from our emailing system (an Instantly.sg email address) and is in our standard default email template. If you wish to customise the email content, you can do this via our customised email message add on (see below).

Note:

- 2 This is a perfect way to obtain branding exposure or inform your guests about certain information (such as your new product etc.). The email message can be pure image (kept below 500kb) or a mixture of image and text.
- 3 Note that we will only provide the software for our Live Photo Feed. You will need to provide a laptop (with internet connection), projector and a projection screen.
For our GIF booth service, we will arrive 1.5 hours beforehand to set up.
We will require the following logistics:
- A space of 3m by 3m
- Space to be near to a power point
- 2 tables. 1 for props, 1 for our printer
- If you or your venue is not able to provide this. Kindly let us know. We will prepare our own tables accordingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
In what format will the GIF be sent over to my guests
Our GIF booth system will automatically convert the GIF file into .mp4 format before sending it to your guests. We do not send over the GIF file in .gif format. Reason being, in most social media websites (such as Facebook and Instagram), they do not accept direct posting/sharing of .gif files. Instead, .mp4 files are more compatible.
