Most photo booths offer a fixed set of backgrounds for your guests to choose from. Our Green Screen Photo Booth and AI Virtual Background Photo Booth, for example, both work this way — event organisers select the backgrounds beforehand, and every guest gets the same options. Our AI Background Creator Photo Booth takes it a step further. Instead of picking from a preset list, guests create their own unique background by typing an AI prompt on their phone. A tropical sunset, a futuristic cityscape, a field of sunflowers — whatever they can imagine, the AI brings it to life. Guests get up to 5 tries to generate and refine their perfect backdrop. Once they are happy, a QR code appears on their phone. They bring it to our photo booth, scan it at the camera, and the photo is taken automatically. Our system then removes the real background and composites the guest onto their AI-generated scene. The result is a one-of-a-kind photo that no other guest will have. Every guest walks away with a printed keepsake and a digital softcopy.
How does our AI Background Creator Photo Booth works?
Step 1: Access our Microsite
At our AI background creator photo booth, scan the displayed QR code using your phone. This opens our AI background creator microsite where the fun begins.
Step 2: Prompt Your Background
On the microsite, type a description of the background you want. A cherry blossom garden, a neon-lit Tokyo street, a snowy mountain peak — anything you can imagine. Tap Generate and the AI creates it for you. Not quite right? You get up to 5 tries to refine your prompt until you are happy with the result.
Step 3: Get Your QR Code
Once you are satisfied with your AI-generated background, the microsite displays a unique QR code on your phone.
Step 4: Scan and Snap
Bring your phone to our AI background creator photo booth and point the QR code at our camera. The camera activates automatically and captures your photo.
Step 5: AI Does the Rest
Our system then removes the real background from your photo and composites you onto the AI-generated background you created. Within moments, your one-of-a-kind photo is ready.
Step 6: Collect Your Keepsake
Finally, collect your printed keepsake from our staff. Every guest also receives a digital softcopy via email, WhatsApp, or QR code.

For this service, we will arrive 1 hour beforehand to set up.

What is the difference between the AI Background Creator Photo Booth and the AI Virtual Background Photo Booth?
Our AI Virtual Background Photo Booth uses a set of pre-selected backgrounds chosen by the event organiser before the event. Every guest picks from the same fixed options. With our AI Background Creator Photo Booth, guests create their own background from scratch by typing an AI prompt on their phone. No two backgrounds are the same because every guest decides what they want to see behind them.
What is the difference between the AI Background Creator Photo Booth and the Green Screen Photo Booth?
Our Green Screen Photo Booth requires a physical green screen backdrop and uses a fixed set of pre-selected backgrounds. Our AI Background Creator Photo Booth does not require a green screen. Instead, our AI removes the real background automatically. More importantly, guests create their own unique background via AI prompting rather than choosing from a preset list.
How does the guest access the microsite?
We display a QR code at our booth. Guests scan this QR code with their phone to access the AI Background Creator microsite. No app download is required. Everything runs directly in the guest’s mobile browser.
Will the physical backdrop appear in the final photo?
No. The physical backdrop is only there to create a clear contrast between the guest and the background during photo taking. Our AI completely removes it and replaces it with the guest’s AI-generated background. The physical backdrop will not appear in the final photo at all.
