iPad Roamer
Most roaming photo booths in Singapore use an iPad camera to capture the shot. Ours is different. Our iPad Roamer is a roaming photo booth that combines the best of two worlds: the mobility of roving photography with the polished experience of a photo booth. Unlike a traditional photo booth where guests have to queue at a fixed location, our staff roams your event carrying a shield-like device that houses both a live iPad preview screen and a professional DSLR camera. Guests see themselves on the iPad, choose from a selection of fun digital props that automatically detect and overlay onto their faces, and the DSLR captures a high-resolution shot that is far superior to anything an iPad camera can produce. The photo is then wirelessly transmitted to our printing station, where guests can preview their shots, collect their printouts, and receive their digital softcopy via email, WhatsApp, or QR code. No need for guests to leave their seats or walk to a booth. We bring the photo booth experience to them, wherever they are.
How does our iPad Roamer work?
Step 1: We Come to You
Our staff roams your event carrying the iPad Roamer. When guests are ready for a photo, there is no need to walk to a booth. We bring the experience right to them, whether they are at their table, on the dance floor, or mingling at the cocktail area.
Step 2: Preview and Pose
Guests see themselves live on the iPad screen. They can also choose to add fun digital props that automatically detect and overlay onto their faces. Once everyone is in position, a countdown begins on screen.
Step 3: DSLR Captures the Shot
When the countdown ends, our professional DSLR camera captures a high-resolution photo. Because we use a DSLR instead of an iPad camera, the image quality is significantly sharper and more detailed, resulting in better printouts.
Step 4: Collect at the Printing Station
After the shot is taken, the photo is wirelessly transmitted to our printing station located at your event venue. Guests can head over at their convenience to preview their photos, collect their printouts, and receive their digital softcopy via email, WhatsApp, or QR code.

Note:
- 1 You can revise the design for free up to the first 3 times. Every subsequent revision is at $30.
- 2 This staff will actively approach and engage guests throughout your event to have their photos taken.
- 3 This staff’s main job is to facilitate the printing process and also assist guests in receiving their digital softcopy. They are not responsible for crowd pulling or engaging. Should you require staff to engage or crowd pull guests to your booth, kindly let us know separately. Additional charges may apply.

iPad Roamer — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the iPad Roamer and a regular photo booth?
A regular photo booth is stationed at a fixed location. Guests walk up to the booth, stand in front of the backdrop and have their photos taken.
Our iPad Roamer flips that entirely. Our staff roams your event and brings the photo booth experience directly to your guests, wherever they are. In addition, the iPad Roamer offers fun digital props that automatically detect and overlay onto guests’ faces in real time, as well as a selection of built-in effects and filters. These are features that a regular photo booth does not have.
What is the difference between the iPad Roamer and roving photography?
Roving photography involves a professional photographer walking around your event taking posed shots of guests. However, there is no live preview for guests to see themselves. There are no digital props or filters. And after the photo is taken, guests cannot preview the result to decide if they are happy with it.
Our iPad Roamer is different. Guests see themselves live on the iPad screen and can personalise their shot with digital props and filters. Because they can preview every shot instantly, they can retake as many times as they like until they are satisfied. It combines the mobility of roving photography with the interactive, guest-controlled experience of a photo booth.
Why do you use a DSLR camera instead of the iPad camera?
A DSLR camera captures photos at a much higher resolution than an iPad camera. This means sharper, more detailed images that produce significantly better printouts. The iPad in our setup serves purely as a live preview screen for guests to see themselves, choose digital props, and pose comfortably. The actual photo is always taken by the DSLR for the best possible quality.
What are digital props and how do they work?
Digital props are virtual accessories such as hats, glasses, and other fun items that appear on the iPad screen in real time. Our system automatically detects all faces in the frame and overlays the chosen prop onto every face detected. All faces will have the same prop applied. Guests simply select the prop they want before the photo is taken. This is completely optional. Guests can skip digital props entirely if they prefer a clean shot.
